Attendance Policies
1. For safety reasons, students may not be dismissed during the last twenty (20) minutes of the school day except in an emergency. A doctor's appointment is not an emergency.
2. Early Dismissals are limited to five (5) per semester. Early dismissals are not allowed by phone. A note from the parent/guardian, with the student's name and contact number, is required. All notes will be called for confirmation. Walk-in early dismissals are permitted with proper identification.
3. Parents are required to verify any absence within twenty-four (24) hours of return to school or the absence will be classified as unexcused.
4. Students are expected to be on time to school and all classes. Only three (3) tardy notes from home will be excused per nine (9) weeks. After that, they are unexcused without a doctor's note.
